Services
Advice, delivery, or a team to build it — depending on where you are
Some clients need a second opinion before they spend anything. Some need a product built. Some need someone senior to run the build they already have underway. We do all three, and we’ll tell you which one you actually need.
Ways to work with us
Three service lines, one accountable team
Each line has a small, low-commitment way to start — so you can find out what we're like to work with before committing to a build.
Consulting & advisory
Independent advice before you commit budget to a build — strategy, scope, architecture and the regulatory questions that decide what you can build at all.
- POC/MVP definition and scoping
- Is your AI feature a medical device? MHRA SaMD triage
- Architecture and technology choices
- DTAC, DPIA and DSP Toolkit readiness
- Vendor and codebase due diligence
Design & development
The build itself — product design and engineering for web and mobile, with clinical safety and data-protection evidence produced alongside the code rather than after it.
- Product, brand and interface design
- Web and mobile engineering (Next.js, React Native, TypeScript)
- Secure APIs, integrations and UK-hosted infrastructure
- App Store and Play launch
- DPIA, DCB0129/0160 and DTAC evidence prepared with you
Delivery & project management
Senior delivery capability without a senior hire — owning the roadmap, the vendors and the governance so a build actually lands.
- Fractional delivery lead or product owner
- Owner’s representative — we manage your agency for you
- Roadmap, sprint and release management
- QA, test strategy and release governance
- Run, monitoring, security patching and support
Engagement shapes
What an engagement actually looks like
We scope and quote every engagement to the problem in front of us, so you get a fixed written price before anything starts. These are the shapes those engagements usually take.
Consulting & advisory
Line AFor founders and teams at definition stage, and for organisations that need a second opinion on a plan, a vendor or a codebase.
Intro call
A genuine two-way conversation about what you’re building and whether we’re the right people for it — not a sales pitch, and not a workshop.
Advisory session
A focused working session on a specific question — strategy, architecture or regulatory — followed by a written summary you can circulate internally.
Regulatory & compliance triage
A fixed-scope review of where your product sits: medical-device screening for AI features, DTAC and DPIA readiness, and a prioritised gap list with actions.
Discovery & definition sprint
The work that turns an idea into something you can fund: a scoped MVP definition, an architecture recommendation, your regulatory posture and a costed build plan.
Technical due diligence
Codebase, architecture and delivery review for investors, boards or acquirers, delivered as a written report with risk ratings.
Design & development
Line BFor teams ready to build, whether that is a first proof of concept or a product you intend to run for years.
Proof of concept
One platform, aimed squarely at the risky part — with the keep-or-throw-away decision written down before we start.
MVP build
A product real users can rely on: launched, instrumented and evidenced, not a demo with rough edges.
Product partnership
We act as your product, design and engineering team on an ongoing basis — for founders who want to move without hiring first.
Delivery & project management
Line CFor organisations with a team or an agency already in place, and for anyone who needs someone in their corner managing the people building it.
Fractional delivery lead
Embedded with your team for a set number of days a week: roadmap, vendor management, QA and governance, reporting to you.
Run & support retainer
Keeping a live product healthy — hosting oversight, monitoring, security patching and a steady trickle of small improvements.
Before you get in touch
What helps us give you a straight answer
None of this is a prerequisite — plenty of good projects start with a sentence and a hunch. But the more of it you have, the faster we can tell you what we'd build, what we wouldn't, and roughly what it costs.
The problem, not the feature list
Who has it, how they cope today, and what changes for them if you solve it. Feature lists are easy to write and easy to get wrong; the problem is the durable part.
Whatever you already have
Sketches, a spreadsheet, a competitor you admire, a half-finished prototype, an existing codebase. Rough is fine — it saves us both a fortnight of guessing.
Who decides, and roughly what you can spend
Not a precise figure — a range and who signs it off. It changes what we recommend, and it stops us designing something you can’t fund.
Any clinical or data involvement
If clinicians, patient data or NHS organisations are anywhere near this, tell us early. It shapes the architecture, not just the paperwork.
How we quote, in plain English
You get a fixed written quote before anything starts. What an engagement costs depends on scope, integrations and how much compliance evidence you need — so we'd rather understand the problem than publish a number that turns out to be wrong in both directions.
Discovery is credited against a build. If you commission a build from us within three months of a discovery sprint, the sprint fee comes off the build price. We'd rather you started with the small step.
You own everything we make for you. Code, designs and documentation transfer to you on payment. No lock-in, no hostage hosting — if you want to take it elsewhere, we'll help you move it.
We'll tell you if it isn't us. If your problem is better solved by an off-the-shelf product, a different kind of agency, or not building anything at all, we'd rather say so on the first call than take the work.
What we do
End-to-end health software, under one roof
From first idea to a live product people rely on — strategy, design, engineering, compliance and ongoing support, delivered by a single accountable team.
Product strategy & discovery
We pressure-test the idea before a line of code: user research, clinical framing, scope and a roadmap you can fund and defend.
Health UX & UI design
Interfaces designed for real adherence — accessible, calm and habit-forming, built to WCAG and the ICO Children’s Code where it applies.
App & platform engineering
Web and mobile from one team — Next.js, React Native, TypeScript, secure APIs and cloud infrastructure that scales.
Data & AI features
Signals, insights and LLM-powered features that are useful and safe — grounded, explainable and never a substitute for diagnosis.
Compliance-ready delivery
Privacy and clinical safety built in, not bolted on: UK GDPR, DPIA, DCB0129/0160 and DTAC evidence prepared alongside the build.
Run, support & iterate
We stay after launch — monitoring, security patching, analytics and a steady cadence of improvements based on how people actually use it.
How we work
A path from idea to a product people trust
Safety and privacy are part of delivery, not a final gate. Here's the shape of a typical engagement.
Discover
Research, clinical framing and a clear problem definition. We decide what to build — and what not to.
Prototype
Fast, testable prototypes so real users and stakeholders can react before we commit to engineering.
Build
Production web and mobile engineering in short, visible iterations with quality baked in.
Assure
Clinical safety (DCB0129/0160), data protection (DPIA, UK GDPR) and accessibility evidenced as we go.
Launch & run
Store launch, monitoring, security patching and a steady cadence of improvements after go-live.
